Technical Support Executive (NOC) - Entry Level
Location: Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia (HQ)
Work Arrangement: On-site, 24/7 rotating shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network and security systems using dashboards and monitoring tools
- Observe alerts, alarms, and system notifications
- Perform basic checks and first-level troubleshooting following standard procedures
- Log incidents and updates in the helpdesk system
- Escalate issues to senior engineers or vendors when required
- Follow incident handling and escalation guidelines
- Assist with basic reporting and daily operational logs
- Support on-site coordination with internal teams when incidents occur
Working Hours
- 24/7 shift rotation (including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays)
- On-site work at Immigration HQ
- Shift schedules provided in advance
Minimum Requirements
- SKM, Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field
- Basic understanding of computer networks and IT systems
- Willing to work rotating shifts
- Responsible, punctual, and able to follow procedures
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools or ticketing systems
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
