Job Description

:

Plan and execute preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, inspections, breakdown maintenance and repair of Production/Mechanical equipment, with additional Instrument/Electrical equipment if deemed competent to support operation and maintenance of regional/ country production of oil and gas to sustain highest technical standards in safe and cost-effective manner.

:

• Perform and maintain normal operating installation conditions as per operating procedure and update all data into relevant program and/or systems.
• Perform installation and equipment start-up, shutdown, and pre /post maintenance as per procedures and update all data into relevant program and/or systems.
• Perform safety equipment routine checks to ensure operability and availability in compliance with HSE rules, regulations and procedures and update all data into relevant program and/or systems.
• Respond the operational upset, plant emergencies, and execute process adjustment including shutdown actions to ensure continuous production operations
• Record and maintain panel log sheets, activities log, equipment history & checklist and perform shift handover for information sharing.

Qualification:

• Technical Diploma Polytechnic or equivalent
• Complete Petroleum Technology Program I (PTP1) from Institute Technology PETRONAS (INSTEP).
• Passed PCSB Competency Development Program.
• Passed PETRONAS Steam Boiler and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Training and Assessment System (PESITAS) 2nd Grade (depending on operation\'s requirement).

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years as Technician (Mechanical/Production) NT2

OR

• Minimum 10 years as Operation Technician in oil, gas and related industry with demonstrated knowledge and skill in tasks.
• Subject to baseline assessment evaluation by PCSB
