Experience: Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service. Experience in the IT/Electronics industry is a major plus.
Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of computer hardware (processors, SSDs, RAM, etc.) is highly preferred.
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Malay. (Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage).
Attitude: Resilient, persuasive, and able to handle rejection professionally.
Tools: Familiarity with basic computer tasks (Excel, Google Sheets) and WhatsApp for Business.
Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Telemarketer to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, following up on customer inquiries, and promoting our range of IT products (laptops, desktops, peripherals, and software). The ideal candidate is comfortable talking on the phone, has a basic understanding of computer specifications, and is driven to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Calling: Conduct cold and warm calls to potential customers (B2B corporate clients or B2C consumers) to promote current IT promotions and new product launches.
Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and recommend suitable IT specifications (e.g., suggesting the right processor or RAM for a graphic designer vs. an office admin).
Lead Generation: Qualify leads and set up appointments for the senior sales team (if applicable) or close sales directly over the phone.
Database Management: Maintain and update the customer database (CRM) with accurate contact details and call logs.
Follow-up: Respond to inquiries received through the website, social media, or WhatsApp in a timely manner.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest technology trends, brand offerings (e.g., HP, Dell, Asus, Apple), and internal stock availability.
