Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring software quality by identifying defects, validating technical and functional components, and supporting delivery of error-free products. Works closely with Engineering/Development teams throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse requirements and prepare traceability matrices. Develop and execute SIT, UAT, and regression test scripts/scenarios. Conduct technical validation (DB, API, Web Services, DWH, etc.). Manage defects and coordinate testing activities with business/UAT users. Highlight risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders. Participate in daily stand-ups and produce required status reports. Identify automation opportunities and support test automation. Provide coaching to improve team testing skills and cross-functional knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong test management and independent work capabilities. Effective communication and stakeholder management. Proficient in SQL/Databases and UNIX/Linux (for technical testers). Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, APIs/Web Services. Advantageous: Development skills (Java, C++, VB), ETL, Data Analytics, Hadoop/Teradata/Oracle SQL, SSH. ISTQB/ISEB certification is a plus.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
