Job Description
:
- Understand and analyze user requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios
- Prepare relevant test data
- Execute test scenarios, ensuring all functionalities are tested thoroughly.
- Identify and document defects in JIRA, ensuring clear and detailed issue tracking
- Communicate with Business Analysts to clarify and refine requirements.
- Communicate with Developers to clarify and resolve defects.
- Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, or any IT related disciplines
- At least 3 years of software testing, including requirement analysis, test scenario design, and defect management.
- Experience in testing for banking or financial services software applications will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar issue-tracking tools
- Good understanding of testing process and methodology
- Able to work independently and with limited guidance
- Able to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
