• National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) Diplomate in Acupuncture or a related TCM modality.
• State license to practice acupuncture (if required by your state).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical TCM setting.
• Strong understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, diagnosis, and treatment principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient intake interviews, including a review of medical history, dietary habits, and lifestyle factors.
• Utilize TCM diagnostic techniques, such as pulse and tongue diagnosis, to assess the root cause of imbalances and health concerns. individualized treatment plans incorporating various TCM modalities, such as:

o Acupunctureo Herbal medicineo Tuina (therapeutic massage)o Cupping therapyo Dietary and lifestyle recommendations

• Perform safe and effective acupuncture treatments, adhering to sterile technique and proper needle insertion protocols.
• Dispense herbal formulas and educate patients on proper usage and potential side effects.
• Maintain detailed patient records and document treatment progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, when necessary, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and patient confidentiality.
