Relationship manager of RHB Banking Group in managing a portfolio of GLC and Public Sector and large private sector clients
Provide support to DD/D, GLC and Public Sector in all Group Wholesale Banking (GWB) initiatives and implementations
Drive client acquisition, satisfaction and retention by ensuring appropriate service levels
Grow market share and share of customers' wallets for all products (IB, treasury, Islamic, etc.)
Increase clients' product portfolio breadth
Key Responsibilities:
To review the bid/project related documents in conjunction with client and other advisors
To construct financial models for project financing (primary) and mergers & acquisitions (secondary)
To lead/support in project management and negotiations with prospective lenders, equity partners, contractors, other project counter-parties; working closely with technical advisers, legal advisers and tax and accounting advisers
To lead/support the preparation of bid submission/ project proposals to ensure compliance with RFP/bid documents
To provide any other appropriate financial advisory services as may from time to time requested by client
To procure mandates for RHBIB and RHB Banking Group
To market RHBIB's products and services to existing and prospective clients
To provide timely and effective service i.e. giving professional and sound advice to clients
To assist in the structuring of the deals/transaction to meet clients' requirement whilst meeting objectives of RHBIB
To keep abreast with the latest developments in the rules, regulations and guidelines governing the domestic capital market as well as the changes in the macro-economy of the market place
To liaise effectively with other business units to enable the delivery of the best products and services to meet clients' (both the company and shareholders) objectives
To maintain good rapport and business relationship with all clients and expanding networking with objective to secure more business opportunities
To review pitches, proposals and reports prepared by those under supervision
To train and guide those under supervision
To assist in the smooth administration of the Team
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor Degree - in Accounting, Finance or related areas.
- . Possess Capital Markets Services Representative's License (CMSRL)
Minimum of 4 years' experience in Corporate and Investment Banking (particularly in Corporate Finance and Debt Capital Markets) at an established financial institution or Financial-related institution
Strong technical competencies in Investment Banking area, eg. Corporate Finance, Debt/Equity Capital Markets etc
Ability to work across SBUs; Be a team player
Excellent interpersonal, selling & relationship building skills
Established reputation amongst domestic corporate clients
