Job Description

The position is a multi-tasks role which plays an important part in providing support to the Execution BBS team (Share Service Centre) in Mohali, India and customers based in Malaysia. The Operations Executive is responsible for the Purchase & Sales contracts settlements and arrange documents signing including dispatch of documents for presentation to banks and customers.

Main Accountabilities

• Coordinating with BBS team (Shared Service Centre) in Mohali, India for documents presentation as required.
• Liaise and coordinate with Regional Office Execution team in Singapore for documents delivery as needed at destinations in Malaysia.
• Monitor documents status from origin and Singapore then present to agent or custom for clearance prior vessel\'s arrival and make sure cargo discharge as per schedule without delay.
• Issue a Deliver Order and instruct the surveyor to release the cargo for collection by the customer at the warehouse.
• Invoice the customers and monitor their payment upon due date.
• Maintain the status of the cargo in the system and review / verify the stock inventory on a monthly basis.
• Work closely with customers, surveyors, stevedores, agents in Malaysia.
• Coordinate with BBS team and commercial team to meet their requirements to avoid any delays, problems, concerns and/or complaints.

• Diploma in Business Administration/Shipping/Banking and Finance or any disciplines.
• Min. 5 years working experience in the commodity logistics or shipping industry or trade services.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently.
• Good interpersonal skills, positive thinking, reliable, enthusiastic and team player.
• Understand and has worked with Incoterms, UCP 600 and Collection URC 522
• Ability to work with SAP process is preferred.
