Ensure that proper SOPs have been filled for all major businesses.
Develop and coordinate implementation programs and processes for new businesses.
Maintain discipline in filing monthly business updates and expense reports as per established company guidelines.
Distribute trip reports and follow-up reports in an efficient and professional manner.
File trip reports in accordance with company's guidelines.
Follow-up all the trip reports every 4 weeks to all parties involved.
Ensure that all marketing information and tools as well as guidelines tariffs are current and available to all prospective users.
Evaluation of gathered information.
Target list monthly & plan process on weekly basis.
Contact existing customers or introduction to new ones.
Collection of customers' requirements.
Request for rates (internally in coordination with Product managers, or externally).
Make offers after studying gathered rates.
Receive customer's confirmation, check his credibility.
Operation Support
Monitor operations issues and escalate when appropriate using company's escalation processes
Thoroughly current with the latest operational developments for all products and services.
Monitor carrier DGF system performance.
Monitor all aspects of operations that relate to the trade lane and are in line with the key customer requirements on the keys lanes.
Quality & Improvement
Comply with company Quality Environment and Safety process.
Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organisation's business processes.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
REQUIREMENTS:-
3-5 years experience.
Sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process.
Confidence in presenting technical and marketing data to clients and colleagues.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive concrete actions and results.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Knowledge of business, services, practices and company policies and procedures.
Confident negotiator and ability to close the deal.
General understanding and use of word processing, spreadsheets/databases, presentation software and internet.
Content expert for all product implementation programs.
Availability to the field for assistance.
Monitors and analyses various management reports for revenue/cost/yield and take appropriate action.
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans. Sets clear and realistic goals and objectives
Capable of hands on problem-solving.
Results-oriented maker with ability to prioritise complex organizational objectives and meet deadlines.
Works cooperatively with others to achieve target and objectives.
