The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 2 is an intermediate level role responsible for managing technology projects throughout the entire system development lifecycle in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to research and implement sustainable technology solutions, increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Responsibilities:
Research, identify and recommend technology capabilities that enable the reduction of client inquiries and manual touch points
Research current treasury and client operational trends and suggest solutions
Work in partnership with vendors, technology, and client operations teams to prototype innovative solutions
Propose and implement solutions that will increase operating efficiency and lead to an improved client experience
Assist efforts to help drive high rates of client adoption
Ensure requirements are clearly stated and that business and client needs are met throughout development
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
4 to 6 years of experience in a related role
Proven system development lifecycle skills
Proficient understanding of emerging technologies
Effective verbal and written skills
Effective analytic and presentation skills
Education:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/University degree or equivalent experience
This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. Candidate is to be responsible for day to day processing of Document Checking transactions and deliver services as per agreed service standards and turnaround times with compliance to policies and procedures governing trade operations. Candidate is also required to participate in UAT/regression testing, understand the flow of the process, build/update standard operating procedures and identify opportunities for consistent improvement to ensure a LEAN process. Candidate is preferred to have 4-6 years of work experience in international trade operations for document checking function, good communication and interpersonal skills, fast learner and ability to adapt to constant change, able to work independently and a dynamic team player who is able to work in a highly challenging work environment. Candidate is also expected to have good knowledge on UCP 600, ISBP and end to end process flow for international trade. Candidate with CDCS qualification is preferred.
