The Trainee Service Crew / Barista will undergo structured training to learn the fundamentals of cafe operations, customer service, and beverage preparation. This role is designed for fresh graduates or entry-level candidates who are passionate about coffee and aspire to build a career in the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Learning
Participate in the company's training program to learn cafe operations, product knowledge, and brand standards.
Understand and comply with SOPs, food handling, hygiene, and safety practices.
Shadow senior crew/baristas to gain hands-on experience in daily outlet operations.
Customer Service
Learn to greet and serve customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Assist in taking orders, handling payments, and preparing takeaway items.
Observe and practice handling customer inquiries and feedback effectively.
Beverage & Food Preparation
Learn to prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages under the guidance of senior baristas.
Understand recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
Assist in preparing light food items as required.
Operations Support
Support outlet cleanliness, sanitation, and housekeeping.
Learn stock handling, storage, and basic inventory practices.
Assist in opening and closing duties of the cafe.
Teamwork & Development
Work collaboratively with the outlet team to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in ongoing training and feedback sessions.
Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow into a full-fledged Service Crew / Barista.
Requirements
Minimum SPM
No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Passionate about coffee, customer service, and the F&B industry.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
