Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to

\xef\x82\xa7 Act as the TCM Manager within the TCM NGSC and become a member of the TCM NGSC Leadership team.
Role model as Senior Lead coaching and supporting team members of own team and/or other TCM NGSC teams. Set clear objectives to the TCM team under their responsibility, in line with TCM NGSC CoE setup and Group Treasury strategies.

\xef\x82\xa7 Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for related policies and processes, drive productivity and continuous improvement, process changes and leading practices to ensure efficient and effective execution of cash management, cash forecasting, cash reconciliation and payment activities in the TCM NGSC. Ownership over the given scope of service deliverables towards the quality and accuracy of reporting and/or systems usability. Coordinate, plan, review operations with in country stakeholders (FSC Heads / CCFOs / CFOs), Corporate Treasury teams (including IHB where applicable) and Group stakeholders to ensure integration, efficiency/effectiveness of the operations as well as excellence in collaboration and communication.

\xef\x82\xa7 Be a role model to secure a coordinated and harmonized TCM activities execution across the NGSCs following the global TCM CoE model. Ensure operational excellence and compliance in running the TCM team under their responsibility.Ensure adherence to standard processes within TCM in collaboration with Head of TCM NGSC and Global Process Owner team, challenging, agreeing and documenting exceptions (where applicable)
Drive productivity and continuous improvement, process changes and leading practices to ensure efficient and effective execution of Payments, Cash and Banking Management activities in the NGSC. Identify problem and trends and ensure that appropriate troubleshooting efforts are conducted for recurring problems until permanent solutions are implemented

\xef\x82\xa7 Plan, facilitate and/or execute assigned special projects and effective collaboration with business partners both internal and external with adequate follow-ups. Proactively challenge (him/herself and encouraging Team members) the status quo and present fact based recommendations. Ensure appropriate reporting and metrics are in place to provide transparency and ensure operational efficiency, effectiveness and compliance. Monitor process and operational TCM KPIs and service levels to ensure the team effectively delivers against targets

\xef\x82\xa7 Partner with and supporting requestors, stakeholders and peers to solve all issues related to TCM processes
Support the process of insourcing activities related to Payments, Cash and Banking Management together with Leadership team members ensuring smooth and well delivered transitions into the NGSC. Participate and assist in driving the knowledge management process including the development of user manuals, knowledge bases, Work instructions, FAQs, etc. for both internal and external users as well as for the teams within TCM; Carry onboarding of new team members and ensure appropriate training

\xef\x82\xa7 Drive continuous improvement of services in quality and effectiveness in close collaboration with peers, Head of TCM NGSC and GPO Team. Lead the team to collaborate and communicate effectively with other NBS teams to drive excellence in service delivery. Work closely with treasury and country finance leads (e.g. FSC heads, Process Leads, Group Treasury) to support stakeholder requirements and to exceed service level expectations. Participate in change management & governance boards representing TCM, ensuring that effective mechanisms are in place to manage the associated change management activities (i.e. minimizing impact on operational performance). Ensure that all processes, policies and procedures are clearly defined, fully documented, in line with Novartis standards (TCM Finance Core) and regularly benchmarked against best practices.

\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure and monitor execution of all activites in full compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and regulatory requirements. Ensure application of agreed Novartis control procedures and actively support to deliver SOX certification. Support internal and external audits when required. Promote and ensure a strong control environment and follows up on audit issues and implement correcting measures.
