Job Description

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.
Provide electrical & optical characterization & verification support to R&D and other internal customers. Ensure state of the art lab capability and apply latest scientific measurement technics to support company product roadmap. Ensure delivery of high quality test/measurement results and reports required in accordance with the product specification for the generation of product datasheet. Analyze product test/measurement data and translate them into specifications to ensure device performance and quality. Scientific and technical advisor to R&D and other internal customers on product electro optical characterization.

Bachelor/Master/ PhD Degree in Science/ Engineering. Photonics will be added advantage. Min 5 years experience in electronics/ semiconductor industry with in depth hands on experience in test development/ engineering. Experience in integrating or developing electronics test and measurement instrument or semiconductor ATE is required. Experience in LED/ Light Sensor is required. Experience in laboratory works will be added advantage. Able to work in a team & carry out task independently. Experience working with international counterparts on technology transfer is required. Intermediate level - knowledge in LED/ Semiconductor testing is required. Intermediate level - Electronics or Semiconductors testing/ characterization is required. Intermediate level - Microsoft Office. Python, C#, Visual Basic, LabVIEW is added advantage. Intermediate level - Clear communication skills. Well versed in English. * Intermediate level - Able to provide technical sharing to large technical audience.
