(Gross Salary = RM 3500++)

Job Scope

• Administer oral and parenteral medication prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Assist veterinarian in patient discharge.
• Assist veterinarian in collecting samples for diagnostic tests
• Assist veterinarian during intubation, general anaesthesia and maintain patients under anaesthesia
• Make appointments for follow-up cases and preventive cares
• Maintain accurate controlled drugs records.
• Attend to emergency cases
• Assist veterinary surgeon with surgery procedures
• Practice proper biosecurity within and outside the premises.
• Practice aseptic techniques during surgery.
• Make sure the practice is properly stocked with sufficient medicines and consumables.
• Any other duties assigned as and when deemed necessary

Requirements

• Degree in veterinary medicine
• Have proficient knowledge on common pet diseases and zoonotic diseases
• Have proficient knowledge on basic pharmacology
• Have proficient knowledge on the usage of operating clinical equipment and general equipment
• Have proficient knowledge on sanitization and disinfection procedures
• Have proficient knowledge on the surgical instruments
• Able to perform basic reception works
