Job Description

Job-holder is responsible for overseeing both the admissions process and ongoing support for enrolled students. This role involves managing the recruitment and selection of new students, from initial inquiries and application reviews to interviews and enrolment. Additionally, he/ she provides crucial support to current students and their families by addressing concerns, facilitating academic and personal assistance, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a smooth and supportive student experience.

On top of that, he/ she manages visa-related processes for international students, including documentation, renewals, and compliance with immigration regulations. He/ she must ensure all visa paperwork is accurately completed and submitted, liaising with relevant authorities and providing support to students and families navigating visa requirements.

1. REPORTING STRUCTURE



Job-holder reports to the Marketing & Admissions Manager.

2. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES



Assist international students with visa application processes, including initial applications, renewals, and cancellations.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian immigration laws and regulations.

Prepare all the visa application documents.

Maintain accurate records of all visa-related documentation.

Liaise with the Malaysian Immigration Department and other relevant authorities.

Provide guidance and support to students regarding visa requirements and procedures.

Handle student recruitment, admission and induction.

Meet established student enrolment targets each academic year.

Process and maintain student enquiry and student enrolment records in the Student Management System.

Conduct preliminary check to ensure students and/or parents have submitted all required documents for admission, before passing the student's file to Registrar for further processing.

Handle and maintain student wait-list administration.

Generate and issue Letter of Admission for accepted enrolments.

Issue and reissue of student ID cards.

Issue temporary ID card for students.

Manage and maintain the uniform shop

Provide note books / stationery for students entering during the year

Arrange and assist new students with the uniform fittings

Work with the Marketing & Admissions Manager and/or Registrar to respond to a variety of enquiries such as admission requirements, procedures, grade applications, waitlists.

Collaborate with the team to develop and implement comprehensive online or physical marketing strategies.

Stay updated on the latest social media and advertising trends to inform strategy.

Prompt and Comprehensive Communication: Manage and respond to inquiries from potential families through various channels, including email, written correspondence, WhatsApp, WeChat, phone calls and in-person meetings. Provide detailed and accurate information about the application process, fees, and other relevant details as needed.

Admissions Support: Address and resolve admission-related inquiries, complaints, and grievances with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring a positive experience for prospective students and their families.

Ongoing Student and Parent Support: Assist current students and parents with their needs, offering guidance and solutions to ensure a satisfying and supportive educational experience.

Commit to Continuous Development. Engage in personal and professional development to stay abreast of the evolving demands of the job and participate in relevant training activities.

Perform Office Duties. Execute general office tasks efficiently and accurately.

Keep up with the latest marketing trends, innovations, communication techniques, and media regulations.

Address Student Needs. Handle student inquiries and needs promptly and effectively.

Foster Professional Relationships

Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, parents, and accrediting bodies.

Ensure compliance with all organizational standards and protocols.

Student withdrawal clearance.

Ensure consistent use of school's brand across all platforms in terms of look, image, identity and message.

Assist in bridging the communication gap between teachers and parents during conferences by offering translation services to ensure mutual understanding.

Work with academic team to provide efficient and effective admission and enrolment service, as well as achieve established targets.

From time to time, job-holder may be required to perform tasks as assigned by the Marketing & Admissions Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
