About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.



Manage the operations of the team to ensure consistent delivery of high quality services to customers within set timelines and using available resources allocated

Manage the team in ensuring that internal and external customer queries on Trade Finance products and transactions are handled accurately and professionally in compliance with policies, rules, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreements

Liaise with Operations teams, Branches, Business Units and other internal departments, whichever applicable, on customer related matters

Ensure that all staff in the team continues to be equipped and developed with the necessary knowledge, skills and tools to achieve the required level of competency to perform their roles and responsibilities effectively, efficiently and accurately

Ensure care and due diligence is exercised by team members on day to day operational matters in relation to PDPA and customer confidentiality, AML/CFT procedures, etc

Acquire relevant knowledge and training while performing the day to day operations thus providing support and advisory, when required

Roles & Responsibilities

Handle customer queries guided by the operating procedures and standards set.

Monitor and maintain records on the calls/queries received for management reporting and service tracking.

Ensure that the processing turnaround standards are achieved and that queries are handled and/or resolved accurately and correctly.

Ensure awareness and full compliance of all laid down rules, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the organization.

Establish and maintain close working relationship with Business, branches and other departments in the organization to facilitate the smooth running and processing of the day to day operations.

Assist the department\'s management in overseeing the daily operations of the team and contribute towards meeting the team\'s objectives

Requirements

Possess a degree

At least 8-10 years of relevant working experience

Good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated, team player with the ability to develop and guide others as work independently under tight timelines
