About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate and contribute from operations and systems perspectives in trade products and services meetings with business and other stakeholders.
• Bridge communication between key stakeholders including business, operations, technology teams and external vendor
• Review functional specifications and provide your input
• Understand user requirement, review functional specification and plan the testing to ensure adequate testing coverage
• Prepare UAT plan and test strategy based on the sign off functional specification documents
• Manage end to end testing ensuring quality test verification and documentation, defect reporting, issue resolution, and progress tracking in timely manner
• Execute, coordinate and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure technology deliverables are thoroughly tested and the expectations are met
• All testing documentations are properly filed for future reference
• Responsible in developing system functionality and user training manual, target operating model and other relevant documentation where applicable
• Identify and initiate improvements in the test processes and execution
• Ensure application parameters setup are carried out with proper control
• Any other roles relating to Wholesale Operational Readiness activities as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• At least 6 years of working experience in trade user acceptance testing
• Possess systems and operational knowledge and experience in the mechanics of trade products and operations
• Practical knowledge of trade products (i.e. LC Issued/Import Bills/ Trust Receipts, Shipping Guarantee/Export LC Negotiation, Bankers Acceptance, Invoice Financing products) and its overall workflow and processes is a must
• Good knowledge on testing practices and testing experience relevant to trade products processing.
• Practical knowledge on the TOSCA automation testing tools would be an added advantage
• Effective communication with good writing and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Able to work independently and as a team player
