Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
Provide menus and suggest daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
Transmit orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.
Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Suggest additional items, such as desserts or beverages, to enhance the dining experience.
Promote special events or promotions within the hotel.
Present bills to guests and handle payment transactions accurately.
Set up dining areas before service, including arranging tables and ensuring cleanliness.
Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Answer guest questions about menu items.
