Manage the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Direct, train, and evaluate warehouse employees, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and audits, and ensure adequate stock levels.
Enforce company policies and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
Work with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to manage and prioritize shipments.
Identify and implement strategies to optimize workflows, increase productivity, and reduce costs.
Ensure the warehouse and its machinery are properly maintained and serviced.
