Purpose of Position:

To ensure the smooth operation of warehouse in inventory management as well as timelines of delivery

Managerial and Coordination Requirements:

Ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, from receiving to storage, picking, packing, and shipping Liaising with production and other relevant departments to ensure smooth operations and shipment requirements Update daily delivery records and re-schedule delivery when there are changes Perform inventory cycle count, stock-taking and inventory turn control Monitors inventory safety stock level & inform buyer on-time to avoid "out of stock" situation

Degree of Complexity / Degree of Freedom

Apply manufacturing best practices Continuously improve Project Management, Supply Chain and Logistic processes with high cost control consideration. Coordination with relevant local functions, including Production Planning team and Purchasing. Continuously improve processes, focusing on first pass requirement, delivery and productivity

Authority:

Authorise in implementing new ideas and tools for the section. Authorised to replenish the material used to prevent production stoppages. Disciplining and deploying of workforce. To stop work under unsafe conditions

Qualification

At least SPM holder / Diploma/ Degree in supply chain management or related field

Experience

3 years progressively responsible experience in Manufacturing operations Preferable with experience in Lean initiatives

Knowledge / Skill

Good communication skills with knowledge in warehouse inventory systems Process high level of integrity.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
