Job Description


Position: Planning Manager - International Warehouse and Distribution Roles and Responsibilities: Search and identify potential real estate agents and landlords for renting or acquiring warehouses to support business operations. Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams, landlords, and contractors, to facilitate the completion of the warehouse renting process. Review and analyze legal documents, terms, and conditions related to warehouse rental agreements, and provide recommendations as needed. Recruit and hire local warehouse managers and supervisors to oversee warehouse operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Develop and implement comprehensive plans to set up warehouses in various countries, including logistics coordination, staffing, and equipment procurement. Conduct site visits to assess warehouse condition and compare them to industry standards and company benchmarks. Develop and deliver compelling presentations to top management that highlight key performance metrics, possible operational challenges, and proposed solutions to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity. Conduct market research to identify potential warehouse locations and assess market conditions. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of warehouse services and material Oversee the delivery of projects and making adjustments as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards. Monitor the progress and timeline of the new assignment across the team members to meet the project objectives. Able to travel internationally to support the new warehouse setup, expansions projects and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Experience/ Skills requirement: Minimum 8 years relevant experience in warehouse operations. Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions. Strong communication and negotiating skills. Excellent in leadership, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills. Operational and strategic planner experience. Display effectiveness and efficiency in working. Good command in English (writing and speaking) and MS office skills. Multi-lingual is an added advantage. Ability to identify work process issues and apply improvements.
