Job Description

:

1. Adopt warehouse operations in a safe and effective manner to achieve the quality and quantity according to the production plan as directed by the Supervisor or superior.

2. Perform shift hand over from Technician of the previous shift in orderly manner.

3. Anticipate start-up, shutdown and emergency activities with minimal supervision in accordance with established procedures and instructions.

4. Expedite routine field inspection and monitor of the assigned units (WH & MTBE corridor area) by taking appropriate action and/or reports any abnormalities observed.

5. Collect the snow at demister and store at proper place with label and quantity recorded.

6. Record operating parameters in the field and log sheets, analyse and recommend action to maintain smooth, efficient and optimum operations.

7. Execute operational preparation for maintenance work and guide the Technician such as filter cleaning, line flushing, purging, topping up chemicals and etc.

8. Perform housekeeping duties to keep the plants in a safe, clean and conducive environment to improve productivity.

9. Collect samples as per schedule and send to laboratory for analysis. Monitors laboratory results from samples and inform immediate supervisor/superior for any abnormalities.

10. Prepare equipment for maintenance and re-commission with minimum supervision from supervisor.

11. Collect label and store wastes as per Waste Disposal Procedure.

12. Oversees and provide guidance to Junior Technician & contractor in performing their duty.

13. Perform Drumming, stuffing, slopping, unloading and loading activity in time and safe manner.

14. Participates any other duties as instructed by superiors such as assist for preparation of the equipment in the plant, assist maintenance activity as manhole and fire watch, assists on office work and others relevant tasks if required.

15. Perform daily tank dipping activity accordingly.

16. Perform daily weighbridge activities as per weighing system procedure.

17. Establish field LOTO as per master red tag and / or isolation procedure.

Job Requirement:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field of engineering and industry

2. At least 2 years of working experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

3. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

4. Self-motivated, independent and proactive.

5. Able to multi-task and demonstrates a positive learning attitude.

6. Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
