Job Description

We're looking for a

Web Developer / UI/UX Developer

who can bring both design and technical skills to create beautiful, functional, and user-friendly digital experiences. If you're someone who can design clean, intuitive interfaces and also implement them into responsive websites or web applications, we'd love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Design and prototype responsive websites, landing pages, and web applications with a strong focus on usability and user experience. Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into high-quality, maintainable code. Optimize websites for performance, SEO, scalability, and mobile responsiveness. Manage hosting environments, domain/DNS settings, SSL certificates, and backups. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and content teams to deliver seamless and visually appealing user experiences. Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate designs based on analytics and behavior. Ensure consistency with brand identity across all web assets. Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and design best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a

Web Developer, UI/UX Designer, or a hybrid role

. Strong portfolio showcasing both design projects (UI/UX) and functional websites. Proficient in

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

; Skilled with design tools like

Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator

. Basic understanding of server-side scripting (PHP, Python, Node.js) is an advantage. Familiar with

CMS platforms

(WordPress, Webflow, Shopify). Understanding of

SEO principles, usability testing, and accessibility guidelines

. Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. 3+ years of professional experience in web development and/or UI/UX design. Familiarity with SaaS, eCommerce, or mobile-first design projects. Experience working in agile or fast-paced environments. Candidates fluent in

Mandarin and/or English

are preferred as the role involves dealing with diverse clients.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
