Job Description

The Wintel Admin will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows-based servers and related systems to ensure smooth operations. This role requires strong technical expertise in the Technology & Telecoms industry to support critical business functions.

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve escalated incidents on Windows Server platforms to ensure system stability and performance.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 3 Infrastructure or Application teams when necessary for deeper resolution.
• Execute routine server operations including setup, upgrades, patch deployment, system monitoring, health checks, backups, and restoration procedures.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform performance tuning to optimize server efficiency.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for operational procedures and incident resolutions.
• Provide support for server-related issues, including hypervisors and storage systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors to manage server operations, maintenance activities, and service-level agreements.

A successful Wintel Admin should have:

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Holder of ITIL Foundation or above is a plus
• >2 years relevant working experiences in Windows Servers, VMware, x86 servers and storage
• Self-motivated, quick learner, Can-do attitude and able to work under pressure
• Good written and verbal communication Cantonese is a plus
• Knowing in SAN infrastructure, SiteScope, AD and VMware is a plus
• Willing to work night shift & and on public holidays
