1. Achieve Targeted Workshop Productivity, Efficiency, and Labour Sales
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that the workshop consistently meets or exceeds the set productivity, efficiency, and labour sales targets.
Effectively utilize the 3-in-1 management tool to plan, track, and evaluate performance, identifying gaps and implementing improvements to optimize results.
2. Vehicle Handover to Service Advisor
Ensure that all customer requests and concerns are duly addressed before the vehicle is handed over to the Service Advisor.
Conduct thorough checks to confirm all work has been completed to the required standards, delivering a seamless customer experience.
3. Daily Workshop Planning and Scheduling
Responsible for managing the daily loading of the workshop by systematically scheduling repair orders.
Allocate jobs efficiently to team leaders and technicians based on skillset, availability, and workload to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
4. Liaison on Training Needs
Work closely with team leaders to identify gaps in technical knowledge and skills within the team.
Recommend and select suitable technicians for technical training programs, ensuring the workshop workforce remains competent, updated, and future-ready.
5. Warranty Administration and Compliance
Oversee the administration of warranty claims, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in the process.
Ensure strict compliance with all warranty policies, procedures, and guidelines set by the manufacturer and company to avoid disputes or claim rejections.
6. Meetings, Discussions, and Reporting
Initiate and lead regular meetings and discussions with team leaders to address job distribution, handovers, and operational challenges.
Provide clear and structured reporting on workshop performance, challenges, and action plans to management.
7. Undertake Ad-Hoc Duties as Assigned
Undertake any other assignments as required.
Perform additional duties assigned by superiors when necessary.
Qualifications
1- Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in related field.
2- At least four (4) years of working experiences in the automotive industry.
3- Must be hands on, detail oriented and dedicated.
4- Independent and able to work under pressure and multitasking environment.
5- Good understanding of customer segmentation and demographics.
6- Ability to interact with all levels of people to address arising issues.
7- Fluent written and spoken in English & Bahasa Melayu.
8- Customer oriented with ability to interact with people effectively.
9- Dynamic interpersonal skills with ability to manage the team.
10- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
11- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Top of Form
