Job Purpose

Ensures all invoices are approved appropriately and paid on time, maintains the accounts payable system, and resolves issues as and when needed while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices fore documentation and approval prior to payment
• Processing invoices, employee T&E claims and payments for assigned Korean locations
• To research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues (identify, communicate and facilitate resolution for suppliers)
• Correspond with internal and external parties and respond to inquiries
• Reconcile pre-payment in supplier account to ensure no long outstanding item
• Assist with month end closing and produce reports, i.e. Supplier Reconciliations and ad-hoc reports
• Monthly calls with local finance and procurement to discuss/resolve any pending issues
• To involve in yearly audit and providing any required information from auditors

• Accounting system experience - Oracle and SAP is preferred;QAD, COGNOS is desirable
• Microsoft Office experience; must have basic Excel knowledge
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Good interpersonal, good communication and problem solving skills
• Minimum -Diploma in Accounting / Finance
• Significant Accounts Payable experience - minimum 1 year experience (Fresh graduates will be considered)
• Able to converse and write in English and Korean language (min requirement Level 3)
