We\'re looking for a highly motivated logistics professional to join our team! SummaryWe are seeking internal/external applications for APAC Logistics Lead to join our Global Planning and Logistics team, reporting to Global Head of Logistics.The purpose of the Planning and Logistics team is to deliver sustainable supply to our customers, and drive change that enables profitable growth. The team will also be focused on driving quality, total cost and scalability outcomes of the supply network through strategic supply chain initiatives and collaboration between the global freight network and the wider ResMed team.This role will manage the transportation portfolio from supplier to distribution centers. The strategic and commercial value of this role including defining/structuring and optimize our logistics network to align with business growth requirements.The Logistics Lead will ensure the APAC Logistics team has framework, guidance, information and support the need to successfully plan and execute their tasks to enable sustainable growth and commercial advantage. Be a problem solver, when possible pro-actively drive solutions and decisions with stakeholders to further grow the business through a robust process framework, integrated and scalable system.Let\xe2\x80\x99s talk about Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to develop and optimize logistics processes to ensure efficiency and highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Establish performance metrics and SLAs to measure, monitor, and report:

• Logistics & Transport service provider performance
• Logistics & Transport total cost within APAC
• Data Quality
• Sustainable value to meet environmental requirement
• Mandate and support compliance with local and international transportation, and trade regulations
• Strategically plan/forecast logistics requirements based on material and demand requirement.
• Manage spend according to the annual plan assigned for APAC region.
• Identify opportunities and establish initiative for cost reduction and efficiency improvement on Legs B and C in and out of APAC region
• Establish a pathway to engage in early logistics regarding new products to achieve optimum transportation costs and deliver sustainable value
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance transportation operations.
• Where appropriate, lead negotiations, implementation and maintenance of associated contractual arrangements, including planning and project management of major negotiations, within and across a portfolio
• Partner with GTS (Global Technology Services) and other teams to develop and execute digital/technology roadmap and it\xe2\x80\x99s integration across the network.

• Proficient understanding of best practices and change management to align the supplier network and internal departments to the future business needs
• Effective negotiation, influencing and supply network management
• Strong experience in international supply chain and logistics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable data and solutions
• Ability to leverage analytical insights for better decision making and problem solving
• Bachelor degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• 3+ years Industry experience in APAC
• Preferred experience working in medical device industry and manufacturing environments
• Proficiency in using ERP systems
