The role incumbent needs to understand internal K-C and best in class industry practices to build capability, and influence cluster logistics teams and leadership team. She/he will also be a conduit for Global Supply Chain into APAC on logistics HPNs like automation and benchmarking. This role is an individual contributor role with high collaboration across APAC countries, and a need to influence APAC Supply Chain Leadership team to accomplish the agenda. This role supports the GBS APAC to effectively deliver business strategy, identify and drive value creation initiatives, support employee engagement initiatives, identify control and compliance gaps and lead disruptive ideas in the journey to Intelligent Business Services.   • Own Distribution External Cost Saving (ECS) delivery for APAC with Net and Gross ECS target.
  • Lead low-cost automation solutions for APAC Distribution Center (DC) networks working closely with the Global Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) team and APAC logistics leaders on DC automation projects.
  • Lead APAC Supply Network design projects for all APAC distribution networks. Ownership to run SND Studies and drive savings.
  • Implement APAC wide annual benchmarking process comparing the cost elements of total cost to serve vs. the best in the world and reapply best practices and ideas to close the gap vs. best in class.
  • Lead E2E loss analysis for APAC in area of both cost and cash
  • Standardize ways of working at APAC distribution centers \xe2\x80\x93 specially safety, quality, co-pack customization and eCommerce processes
  • Work with local markets in APAC in driving key Logistics improvement programs like TMS, WMS, ASRS etc.
  • Work with Global supply chain teams for the upcoming breakthrough projects in Logistics and Planning arena on behalf of APAC business
  • Drive agility & flexibility in the Logistics processes to ensure Customer focus (internal and external) is always a priority & in focus
  • Drive Zero loss mindset in logistics leveraging various E2E LE tools
  • Change agent who can bring organization together on right logistics processes
  • Clear, focused & compelling communication with various stakeholders both within supply chain and in multi-functional teams to drive effective and efficient logistics towards business goals.
  • Own the capability of team of logistics leaders and work processes in logistics by leveraging current capabilities & building new skills
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a Business, Supply Chain, Science, Engineering or related discipline; Graduate Degree (MBA) preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience in fields of Logistics execution, logistics work processes (incldg Safety, Quality), Supply network design tools & Project management
  • Good understanding of logistics tools like TMS, WMS, ASRS, AGVs as well as new age capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; demonstrated skills interacting at various levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate root cause analysis, thoroughness and problem-solving skills; ability to collaborate and influence based on data
  • Experience with systems: SAP, BW/BI, MS suite applications with emphasis in Excel (advanced) & preferred Llamasoft
