In doing so, we are establishing a stable and secure IT infrastructure and jointly developing innovative digital solutions with the BASF divisions, which make our customers more successful. We are constantly looking for new and promising ideas and technologies in order to be the world's leading digital chemical company. Main Tasks Join our Product Team for API Management and support us in providing innovative solutions to enhance the product quality in the entire API Management area. You will be responsible for the technical design and development of our own developed applications for the API-Management . Beyond that you will support respective testing and error correction activities. You will drive the further design and development of our BASF Integration Hub, BASF Developer Portal and in future support the setup of our decentral API-Gateways. You will ensure runnable, supportable and stable solutions from a technical and operational point of view. Consulting of projects on the setup of integration scenarios in the area of API-Management Setting up API-Proxies on our API-Gateways Requirements Background in computer science, information technology or a comparable technical professional training Deep know-how in the area of web application development (frontend and backend) Experience in programming languages such as Javascript, Typescript, PHP and frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Hugo, Core UI, Docsy . ) Handling of CI/CD pipelines including orchestration tools, GIT repositories, test tools, code quality tools and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, JMeter, JSLint, Maven) Know-how about Developer Portals, OAuth , Drupal, Docker, Kubernetes , Experience in Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code ( Terraform ) and in development projects (conception, realization, testing, documentation and support) Creative and motivated working style with a strong focus on innovation Excellent communication skills in English which define you as an effective team player Know-how in the area of APIs, Open-API Specifications, API Design and Development, Apigee Edge or SAP API-Proxy development As one of the world's largest chemical companies, BASF is on a mission to create chemistry with a sustainable future.
