Identify and qualify sales opportunities by prospecting new customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including OEMs, distributors, contractors, and end-users, to promote brand loyalty and maximize sales opportunities.
Provide technical support and product training to customers, helping them understand product features, benefits, and applications to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and customer service, to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential threats and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to customers, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages of the company\xe2\x80\x99s products and solutions.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to close sales and achieve profitable business outcomes while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to assess progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with key stakeholders, promote brand awareness, and generate leads for future business opportunities.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of work experience with a good 3-5 years in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in a relevant industry.
Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Additional qualifications in sales or business administration are advantageous.
Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and professionalism.
An excellent understanding of rubber products and industry especially the Malaysia market is a must.
Experience in driving sales for automotive aftermarket products will have an added advantage.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
