BAT DIGITAL BUSINESS SOLUTION IS LOOKING FOR AN ASSISTANT CAPABILITY ACCELERATION MANAGER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Level

FUNCTION: Human Resources

SALARY RANGE: Starting at RM 7,000 + excellent benefits + market leading bonus

LOCATION: Sunway Geo Tower, Bandar Sunway

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The fundamental purpose of the role is to support the agenda of capability building of BAT employees in North Asia Area to deliver the business objective. The role will support the Area Talent OE Manager, Marketing Skill Development Manager and Global Business Service (GBS) Capability Acceleration Manager (CAM) to deploy, execute capability building agenda, facilitating, and enabling learning for the organization.

This includes supporting the team to involve Line Managers in cultivating a strong capability building culture and enhance employee engagement to drive job high performance culture in the organization.

Geographic Scope: North Asia Area

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Execute training programs that are aligned with the organization objectives and maximize the learning opportunities for the organization
  • Promote e-learning culture of continuous development and evaluate the effectiveness of L&D program
  • Manage & assess L&D budget plan based on capability development plan for the year
  • Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts to collect and curate content on L&D request
  • Incorporate scenario-based eLearning, realistic role-play, leader videos, knowledge checks, instructional games and rich performance support aids into the employee learning experiences
  • Apply standard adult leaning principles and instructional design methodologies to build creative, fun and engaging learning experiences
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholder on learning impact
  • Manage all administrative work-related to L&D (e.g., training coordination, facilitation)
  • Support end to end project management of L&D trainings and deliverable (e.g., training logistics)
  • Surface feedback and proactively identify ways to optimize training processes/deliverables
  • Analyze training feedback and propose recommendation for future training needs to strengthen existing capabilities or learning new ones
  • Engage with digital learning channel/platform and make sure the accesses are updated
  • Support ad hoc project within the L&D team as needed
  • Partnering with the North Asia Area HR team to support KPIs for L&D
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Ideally 3 years of working experience in related HR field preferably as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or equivalent in a multi-national company
  • Equipped with knowledge of effective learning and development (L&D) method, and having a creative mentality in crafting communication plans
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms (THE GRID, EdApp) / Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Advanced English, both written and spoken
  • Fast learner and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of partnering and supporting employees and managers, able to collaborate and influence across a variety of partners (HRDs, HRBPs, Line Manager, Share Service Centre teams).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency to coordinate structural deliverable
  • Pro-activeness in identifying improvement areas around L&D and provide recommendations
  • Able to speak Japanese or Korean language is an advantage
  • Minimum degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
