Job Summary
We are currently looking for an energetic talent to take up the role as Assistant Engineer. This position reports to Manufacturing Engineer.
Main responsibilities:
1. Create and maintain accurate 2D and 3D drawings for production and customer submission.
2. Assist the Manufacturing Engineer in costing, data collection, analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting within the factory.
3. Prepare and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy in production planning.
4. Support engineering and product development activities, including design modifications, and improvements, and in-house testing.
5. Work hands-on on the factory floor to support troubleshooting, process and quality improvements, and technical problem-solving.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve technical issues.
7. Provide technical support for operational tasks, including documentation, process standardization, and quality control.
8. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for design and production.
9. Participate in company-wide activities, including Annual Stock Take, Health and Safety practices, and other corporate initiatives.
Job requirements:
To do well in this role, you are expected to fulfil most of if not all requirements listed below.
1. Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial) or equivalent.
2. Recent graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
3. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD is required.
4. Possess a practical engineering mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
5. Self-disciplined, organized, and systematic in approach to tasks and responsibilities.
6. Hands-on and proactive in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
7. Eager to learn, apply, and explore new knowledge, technologies, and best practices.
8. A team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds and cultures.
9. Multilingual ability is an advantage, especially for effective communication across teams and with stakeholders.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
