Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer / Assistant Engineer at Grand Millennium Technology Sdn. Bhd., located in Sungai Petani, Kedah. The Engineer / Assistant Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engineering solutions. They will conduct research, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, providing technical support, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Mechanical Engineers, Electrical and Electronic Engineers and Mechatronic Engineers are encouraged to apply

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs routine or entry-level engineering tasks. Contributes to the development of engineering plans and designs. Investigates and analyzes new materials, equipment, and engineering practices. Prepares engineering calculations, estimates, statistics, and minor designs. Estimates costs for projects. Analyzes quotes and bids to assist senior engineer. Performs equipment and materials test studies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Occasional travel/meetings with customers at customers' site

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mastery of engineering software and systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Familiar with PLC Programming such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron will be an advantage Posses driving license (D) and own transport Proficient in engineering drawing software such as Solidworks, AUTOCAD, etc.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering is required Diploma holders with a minimum of 3 years experience are encouraged to apply Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
