Job Description


The FP&A Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial strategy of the consumer brand. This position requires a strong analytical mind, excellent financial modeling skills, and a deep understanding of the retail industry. The Analyst will be responsible for providing financial insights, forecasts, and analysis to drive informed decision-making.

  • Financial Forecasting and Budgeting:
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets for the entire retail chain.
  • Analyze historical data, industry trends, and economic indicators to create realistic projections.
  • Prepare detailed financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Performance Analysis:
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial health of the business.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and risk, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for management.
  • Financial Modeling:
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential business initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of different scenarios on financial performance.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Use advanced data analytics techniques to support decision-making.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis:
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role in the retail / FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software).
  • Excellent communication / business partnering and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
