The team is responsible for planning & strategy, impact measurement, process excellence, internal & external stakeholder engagement (including pubilc and rivate sector), programme management, and subject matter expertise for ESG-related matters. Grab is an MSCI ESG \'AA\'-rated company.Get to Know the RoleReporting to the Head of Sustainability, in a hybrid work arrangement, you will create the development of sustainability strategy and implement them to support Grab\'s business growth. Depending on the experience you bring, you will cover either Decarbonisation or Waste Circular Economy.The Critical Tasks You Will PerformYou will perform the main function as follows: * Subject matter expert

• Develop and implement comprehensive accounting methodologies and systems to measure Grab\'s environmental impact.
• Monitor and report progress such as energy usage, waste generation, and other relevant environmental metrics.
• Analyse data and identify areas for improvement, keeping us on track towards targets and support in developing strategies to achieve them.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate environmental considerations into decision-making processes and explore opportunities for solutions at scale through data and technology.
• Processes and Methodology:

• Implement and improve seamless processes and automation, for measuring environmental impact within Grab\'s operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Engagement and Environmental Impact Reduction:

• Collaborate with business units to develop impact reduction strategies, and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Support cross-functional Implementation and tracking performance of environmental plans
• Promote environmentally-friendly practices and behaviors among Grab employees and external partners.
• Budget Management and Program Planning:

• Track allocated budgets for environmental programs
• Support in the development of environmental programs, including goal setting planning and execution.

QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need

• Passionate and motivated about making a positive difference in the community (social and environmental aspects) at large organisations.
• 1+ years of experience in carbon accounting and environmental metrics.
• Proficient in analysing data to make informed sustainability improvements.
• You will have skills in managing projects, prioritizing tasks to completion.
• You will have understanding of sustainability standards, principles, and environmental regulations.
• Experience to work with multiple teams and engage multiple team members and partners.
• You are have a good balance of being data-driven and communications motivated with opportunity to conduct presentations.
• Experience implementing and automating sustainability-related processes.
• Experience managing program budgets and help plan sustainability programs and implement them.
