1) Quantitative Target Agreement
a. Set Goal and Objectives
- Formulate monthly sales target for individual agency.
- Communicate monthly sales target to agents.
- Focus on TEV and BEV, in line with global MB strategy.
- Ensure achievement of quantitative targets set provide weekly updates on target forecast.
b. Manage Performance to Achieve Target
- Project, monitor and review retail and target performance (actual vs target) with agents. Identify shortfall or volume opportunity and develop proactive sales and marketing measures to secure target achievement.
- Solicit orders to meet sales and market penetration objectives.
- Regularly review local market development (economy, local automotive TIV, competitor activities) with agents to identify risk and opportunity. Together with agents, develop measures to counter risk and develop plans to capitalize opportunities.
- Conduct agency meetings to brief and steer Agency\'s Sales Manager and Sales Executives on new sales & marketing campaign, product information, competitors information and MBM\'s circular.
c. People and Resources Management
- Cultivate and maintain a healthy business relationship with Agency.
- Steer and influence agents to be aligned with MBM\'s sales objective.
- Coach and motivate agent\'s sales team.
- Optimize agent\'s sales efficiency by enhancing and professionalizing agent\'s sales processes.
- Manage and resolve any internal and external conflict/complaints that hinder sales.
2) Qualitative Target Agreement
a. Set Goal and Objectives
- Monitoring Agent Standard.
- Monitoring CSI Activities.
- Digital KPI (DTOS, Lead Management, etc.)
- DQP KPI
b. Manage Performance to Achieve Target
- Refine agent\'s operation to comply with Mercedes-Benz\'s Agent Standard. Attain agent\'s buy in and handle any change management as required.
- Identify non-conformance and develop corrective action plan to close gap.
- Cultivate excellent sales process, monitor CSI related measures.
- Drives Agency performance and acts as a bridge between agents and HQ.
- Constant engagement with Agents to solicit feedback and ideas, carry out internal compilation for onwards proposal to Marketing team.
- Acting as gatekeeper on NFM/Fleet submissions by agents.
c. People and Resources Management
- Changing agent\'s mindset from traditional selling to omni-channel retail solutions.
- Support the development of training and development plans for agent\'s Sales Manager and Sales Executives.
- Cultivate the culture of high level of data accuracy, completeness & timeliness.
- Develop and increased focus on customer experience.
3) Drive and steer Digital KPI
- Monitoring New Leads generation Vs Online Leads Conversion.
- Monitoring timeliness of New Leads acceptance and response rate.
- Analyze monthly DTOS reports and discuss counter-measures to Agency management.
- Providing STS and system usage related support to agents.
- Tracking STS contract conversion rate to actual retail.
- Regularly review STS data accuracy.
- To support Finance Team on payment related issues.
- To support STS Team backend activities.
- Communicate and coordinate latest update and digital system training to Agents.
- Answering and resolving queries from DQP.
- Facilitate vehicle specification and quotation requests.
4) Projects and Misc
- Support MBM Used Car Program.
- Support product, system, etc. training.
- Support project implementation training.
5) Compliance, Policies and Guidelines
- Ensure all work and sales processes are complied with MBM Processes, policies
and guidelines requirements.
- Consult with Local Compliance Officer on topics or tasks as and when required.
- Consult with Legal counsel on topics or tasks as and when required.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in automotive industry
- Flexible / Multi-tasking sensibilities. Able to employ multi-discipline approach: business, marketing, financial, legal
- Communication skills including soliciting buy-in, negotiation, and ability to manage confrontations on difficult issues.
- Able to adapt and deal credibly with cross-spectrum of people from front line staff to senior management
- Business acumen, ideally within automotive industry and in general
- Account development skill - building business relationships intra-company and with agency
- Strong ability to execute and follow-through (personal energy and ability to energize others)
