Assistant Mill Manager
Job Description
- Direct assistance and collaboration with Mill Manager in overall operations of the production plant, machines and equipment. - To ensure healthy yields of Oil Extraction Rates & Kernel Extraction Rates with production targets and wastage - To initiate, identify and take appropriate actions on process area for continuous improvement - To plan and optimize production, manpower planning and loading - To identify potential staff for human capital training, development and succession planning - To ensure proper implementation and adherence of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) system - To oversee and ensure compliance to DOE, DOSH, HSE and other regulatory requirement - Good housekeeping on production floor, machines and equipment which include conducting regular and scheduled preventive maintenance - To prepare regular reports and documentation as per MSPO requirement Job Requirement - Possess a relevant Engineering discipline and/or an equivalent qualification - Minimum 5 years related working experience preferably in Palm Oil Processing Mill - Possess leadership skill and able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia. - Computer literate and a self-starter - STEAM CERT GRADE 1 OR GRADE 2 (would be an added advantage)
