About the Role
The Assistant Manager Planning is required to support Supply Chain Manager in demand management and coordination with Customer Service team. He/She is also expected to work closely with the RM Planner and Production Planner on the production schedule and overseeing materials to support the schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of the supply chain process
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- KPI driven - Inventory, OTIF, SLOB
- Attention to detail and ability to focus on numbers for long periods
- Analyzing available data from demand planning, inventory reports and other
- resources
- Recommending changes to the way the company handles inventory
- Anticipating factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal slowdowns or
- upcoming promotions
- Managing the storage of inventory and materials
- Maintaining enough inventory to meet demands without overstocking
- Collaborating with operations, production and other supply chain department
- team members
- Technical knowledge and understanding of integrated software systems
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal or external stakeholders
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain Management
- You have at least 5 years\' experience working in supply chain planning function role within manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing industry (FMCG).
- You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experienced in SAP system is a MUST
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc)
