Available Roles & Key Responsibilities

Assistant Security Manager

The Assistant Security Manager is responsible for the overall security of the hotel. To assist the safety and security manager and to replace him in his absence.

Key Duties:

Assist in Overseeing Security Operations

Support the Security Manager in supervising daily security activities, ensuring proper staff deployment, and maintaining safety and order across hotel premises.

Incident & Emergency Response

Lead initial response to emergencies and incidents, conduct investigations (e.g., theft, fire, accidents), and prepare detailed reports for management review.

Policy Compliance & Staff Discipline

Enforce hotel policies, security procedures, and internal controls while upholding professional standards and discipline among the security team.

Safety Surveillance & Risk Management

Monitor guest areas, staff work zones, and high-risk locations; identify, report, and follow up on safety hazards or property deficiencies.

Training & Team Development

Organize and deliver security training programs to improve staff readiness, awareness, and adherence to safety protocols.

What We're Looking For

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years in hotel security or related field, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.

Knowledge

Strong understanding of hotel safety procedures, emergency response, and local safety regulations.

Leadership Skills

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a security team while maintaining discipline and professionalism.

Communication

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to liaise effectively with management, staff, guests, and external authorities.

Problem-Solving

Quick decision-making in emergencies, with the ability to investigate incidents thoroughly and provide clear, actionable reports.

Professional Presence

High standard of personal appearance, integrity, and discretion.

Flexibility

Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
