Job Description

Join our dynamic team at INNSiDE Kuala Lumpur Cheras and play a key role in maximizing the hotel's performance and profitability. As part of the commercial team, you'll be responsible for analyzing business trends, optimizing pricing strategies, and driving revenue growth in line with MHI standards and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize the tools provided and ensure compliance with MHI standards to maintain, update, and share essential business intelligence, including: Master calendar of external events Competitor rate analysis and RevPAR penetration (RGI) Arrival and spending patterns of commercial accounts Denial reports, meeting space allocation, and guest capture ratio (with F&B Manager) Loyalty program performance (overall, by account, and for bookers) Channel performance and revenue trends (rooms and non-rooms) by channel, segment, and account Understand the composition of hotel profitability and use this insight to evaluate local accounts and group business, contributing to future rate setting and contract negotiations. Monitor competitor pricing across all revenue-generating departments, understand local market dynamics and demand generators, and recommend strategic actions in weekly revenue meetings. Conduct weekly

Rate/Sell Strategy (Yield) Meetings

with the General Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, Reservations Manager, Front Office Manager, F&B Director, and Financial Controller. Facilitate the

Weekly Revenue Meeting

chaired by the General Manager, preparing all necessary reports and analysis to highlight key trends and performance indicators. Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications:

Minimum

3 years of experience

in revenue management, reservations, or a related role within the hospitality industry. Proficient in

PMS systems

(e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and

revenue management tools/software

. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Minimum

Diploma

in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Due to work permit restrictions, this position is open to Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.*

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
