Assistant Shipping Manager (manufacturing 5 Working Days)

Job Description
Location: Johor Bahru
s:
- To place vessel booking, check and verify shipping documents (Custom form, Bill of lading, certificates).
- To oversee all the export and import shipment arrangement.
- To liaise with internal & external party to provide weekly shipment schedule.
- Responsible for Certificate of Origin and cost of analysis (MITI, FMM, FAMA, Phytosanitary certificate)
- To negotiate best rate with shipping line companies for the shipments.
- Continuous source for new ocean freight and forwarding rate to compare existing forwarder reliability.
- To arrange delivery of samples and preparation of related documents.
- To prepare monthly shipment report, ISO report, monthly insurance declaration report.
- Ensure the shipping procedures comply with government regulations.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 4 years and above of working experience in Shipping/ Supply chain is an added advantage.
- Has experience to lead a team.
