The Assistant Supply Chain Manager will be the focal point for overall end to end supply chain activities including planning, inventory control, warehousing, logistics and distribution. This person will be working closely with the leadership team to help drive growth of the company. Amongst the many responsibilities some are listed below:

  • Prepare Master Production Schedule to ensure OTIF, Lead time, MTS inventory and working capital.
  • Monitor the Rough Cut Capacity planning ensuring Capacity Utilization for product allocation.
  • Understanding product specifications and machine capacity data to match with type of product and capacity availability to plan the shipment schedule.
  • Reviewing daily SOs/backlog and work closely with planners and buyers to bring in the raw materials to site and schedule the production batches to fulfil customers\' needs.
  • Coordinating on goods readiness to meet the trucking and shipping schedules with logistic team.
  • Organise daily Service calls with Customer Services and Sales to give update on the SO.
  • Coordinating daily Production calls with Operations (Inbound, Production, QC, Outbound) to review Plan vs Actual and work on recovery/mitigation plan if deviations occur.
  • Hosting weekly Business Unit calls with Sales to provide update on Service performance and review productivity projects.
  • Leading the Monthly review Regional S&OP process and improve Material master data, planning (MRP) related process.
  • Responsible with the sales, materials management, scheduling, and transportation regarding delivery status and business forecasts.
  • Monitoring and coordinating the introduction, modification, or discontinuation of products, which includes maintaining SKU numbers, inventory and order levels, and product lists, communicating status across the departments, and other activities.Schedule the supply of materials to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels.
  • Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
  • Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • To Minimize obsolete and aging stock.
  • Tracking the production volume and monitoring the demand and purchasing trends
  • Oversee shipment coordination includes shipping documents such as COA, invoice, pack list and bill of landing) for import clearance as and when required.
Work in a top tier company in the industry|Be part of a globally recognized organisation
  • At least Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years experience in purchasing / supply / demand or supply chain
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in ERP/MRP
