Job SummaryLead DKSH\'s end to end eCommerce operations in Malaysia to drive profitable expansion of the online business for our clients and customers.Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute DKSH Malaysia\'s e-commerce growth strategy:
  • Develop an accelerated growth strategy to grow DKSH client\'s e-commerce business across channels and customers
  • Own end to end e-commerce service management (performance marketing, key account management, fulfilment, analytics), ensuring an optimized and profitable operation
  • Drive business development by developing new revenue streams and supporting organization to acquire new brands/clients
  • Navigate changes in eCommerce, including pureplayers, own branded stores, retailer.com, and emerging channels like social commerce
  • Participate in top to top client and platform engagements as business partner and thought leader within FMCG e-commerce category, providing insights and actionable recommendations for growth
  • Recruit, mentor, develop, lead, and retain a high performing e-commerce team of e-commerce key account managers, e-commerce operations executives
  • Results and KPI driven leadership:
  • Accountable for eCommerce business KPIs including GMV, net sales, traffic, conversion, AOV
  • Accountable for bottom line KPIs including Accounts Receivable, Claims receiveable, EBIT margin and inventory levels
  • Effective and collaborative team leader:
  • Experience managing team of operations and key account managers to deliver upon targets and objectives
  • Empower team with skills and expertise needed for eCommerce success through playbook development, training, and best practice sharing.
  • Work closely with cross functional partners in finance, HR, client management, modern trade
  • Collaborate with peers across the region to share and implement best practices.
  • Ideal candidate has omnichannel experience and would guide development of omnichannel practices internally
  • Key Account Leadership:
  • Lead key account relationships with eCommerce retailers, particularly Lazada, Shopee, and Foodpanda
  • Engage in annual joint business planning and negotiate campaign and promotional calendars
  • Omnichannel experience working with modern trade online retailers such as Lotus preferred
  • Drive operational excellence:
  • Work with local teams to forecast revenue, establish budgets, and set targets.
  • Manage forecasting and inventory levels in collaboration with clients, client managers and customers.
  • Oversee reporting and automation initiatives
  • Ownership of A&P management, AR and trade claims recovery from clients within contracted terms
Job Requirements
  • Degree or professional qualification in a related discipline
  • Highly motivated individual with 8-10 years of experience, of which 6-8 years of eCommerce specific experience in building and driving eCommerce businesses, at least 4-5 years in manager role
  • Preferably from FMCG, E-enabler or Platform background
  • Strong Commercial Acumen: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, mastery of e-commerce growth drivers with previous hands on experience
  • Excellent Communicator: Authentic and straightforward with strong negotiation skills
  • Strong collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders including clients, customers and cross functional teams
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment
