Job Description


Role Responsibilities T o grow Islamic CCIB business and to achieve the target revenue and balance sheet by working together with the CCIB businesses and product partners to originate, pitch and close deals. Strategy Plan and execute Saadiq CCIB strategy along with Head of Islamic CCIB, CCIB Team and CEO Saadiq Ensure Saadiq strategy aligns with country as well as Global Islamic Banking strategic agenda. Business Setting annual target together with the CCIB segment team. Support Relationship Managers and Product Partners including and not limited to TB, FM etc in selling Islamic Banking products. Ensuring seamless and end to end execution of Islamic deals. Manage Bank\'s Financing Impairment at the acceptable level. Provide technical support and structured solutioning for Islamic deals to ensure transaction meets client needs as well as complies with Bank\'s framework. Formulate sales and marketing plan for Islamic Banking business within CCIB team Assist in training and awareness programs on Islamic Banking. Processes Ensure end-to-end coverage for Islamic customers including customer interaction, product and process delivery, execution of transactions and post transactional support. People and Talent To maintain excellent relationship with all stakeholders and collaboratively working together to achieve common goals. To ensure skill level is enhanced to meet future golas of Saadiq. Risk Management Ensure compliance to relevant Operational Risk Fraework with regards to identifies role of Process Owner. Governance Ensure compliance to governance requirement. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Lead the Islamic Business, Malaysia to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\'s Conduct Principles : [Fair Outcomes for Clients Effective Financial Markets Financial Crime Compliance The Right Environment.] . Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Adhering to Bank Negara Malaysia standards and guidelines Key Stakeholders Key stakeholders include both internal and external stakeholders such as Shariah Committee, Group Islamic Banking, Legal, Compliance, Business Heads, Relationship Managers and Product Partners. External stakeholders include Bank Negara Malaysia, Securities Commission and appointed external auditor. Other Responsibilities Handle Profit Sharing Investment Account-related matters.
