Responsibilities:

  • To take charge of a mixture of credit & non- credit portfolio of around 35 - 40 companies, attending to business promotion (loan, deposit and forex growth).
  • Monitoring & Tracking of post approval credit issues or conditions including all covenants/conditions/instructions/quarterly/half yearly and all other reports related to credit matters.
  • Initiate Credit submissions and renewals- Credit Application, Interim Monitoring, Action Plan, Condition /Instruction /Report required (C/I/R).
  • To safeguard or recover credit granted to borrowers which show signs of deterioration in business.
  • Preparation of all relevant reports to Head Office/Regional Office, Credit Examiners, Credit Advisors and Central Bank for the portfolio assigned. (where necessary)
  • To support Labuan Branch\xe2\x80\x99s business promotion activities by providing various assistance which may be required from time to time.
  • Perform any other task that is assigned by HOD from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
  • Preferably with 4-5 years of relevant working experience especially in Corp Banking Role.
  • Applicant must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good knowledge of banking regulatory environment, relevant laws & regulations, industry trends and products.
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills in dealing with internal employees or external customers/client.
  • Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
