Job Description
DescriptionPrimary Objective:
- Assist the execution of the approved audit plan / other assignments.
- Execute audit assignments on Basel II, Basel III, MFRS 9, Risk Informed Pricing (\xe2\x80\x9cRIP\xe2\x80\x9d) or functional audits as outlined in the approved Audit Plan.
- Carry out audits in accordance with the audit programs and check the compliance with BNM requirements, Basel II/III requirements and the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s internal requirements.
- Ensure completion of audit assignments within the budgeted timeline.
- Participate in product/ policy/ process review and provide value-added recommendations if any.
- Participate in Basel related projects.
- Raise quality audit findings, appropriate root causes and value added recommendations.
- Attend end-of-audit discussion with auditees.
- Prepare draft audit reports for review by FA Head if any.
- Follow-up with auditees on the progress of rectification actions on audit findings.
- Attend to ad-hoc assignments or meetings as directed by the FA Heads, FG Heads or Group CIA.
- Timely update of Electronic Working Paper (\xe2\x80\x9cEWP\xe2\x80\x9d) in Audit Management System (\xe2\x80\x9cAMS\xe2\x80\x9d).
- Update Audit Programs with the relevant guidelines from time to time.
Bachelor Degree - \xe2\x80\xa2 Applied Statistics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematic.At least 3 - 5 years experiences in Basel II, Basel III or MFRS 9 preferably in model validation.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of internal control principles / practices, banking activities, risk management, corporate governance and statutory regulations.
