About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group's business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage one BP&A team for all units under Credit Operations.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how own area collectively integrates in contributing towards achieving overall business goals.
  • Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations.
  • Directly impacts the area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures and further influences resource planning
  • Persuades and influences others through strong communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Stays abreast of the organization's operational procedures and best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements; using such knowledge to recommend customized business solutions to internal clients.
  • Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and streamline operational processes
  • Ensure compliance to feeder reports in adherence to the regulations and such reports are serviced through the evaluation and implementation of appropriate control and testing measures.
  • Assist in the preparation of our Senior's Review, Meetings and Audit deliverables
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Help to govern and drive O&T Strategies through high quality reporting, analysis, and forums.
  • Help to drive forward the Operations Productivity through contentious monitoring and partnership with pillar representatives.
  • Produce regular, high-quality reporting through the extraction, amalgamation, and analysis of data from a range of in-house systems.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Job Requirements
  • Advanced Knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process with a focus on the Microsoft Office Suit and Tableau
  • Significant Ability of Identifying, mitigating, resolving, managing, and escalating risks and issues
  • Ability to manage, improve, and design processes and standard operating procedures, including managing KPIs and SLAs to monitor and enhance service quality and process integrity
  • Strategic thinker, considers the end-to-end, adjacent impacts to the broader system; formulate strategies and innovate
  • High Level Ability to analyze and think critically and conceptually and interpretively to solve problems. Includes ability to identify opportunities, assess needs, conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, synthesize insights, and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships through advising, collaborating, influencing, negotiating, and persuading.
  • Ability to plan (long-term, medium-term, and short-term), create and manage budgets and reduce expenses / save costs
Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years relevant experience
  • Business intelligence / MIS reporting experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and acceptable knowledge of SaaS.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
