We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President.

The Opportunity:

The primary responsibility of the Debt Securities Central Operations Change team is to support and implement change across the main streams supporting Debt Securities Business in Operations.

The streams within the team are as follows:

  • Operating Model Change, including process improvement
  • System Integration & Change
  • RIMS system support & sustainability
Key Deliverables of this role:
  • Involved in projects eg. Regulatory and market initiatives, new business, business requirements gathering and reporting, process improvement initiatives.
  • Interfacing with Vendor and Debt Securities IT teams for Operations aspects of system change and implementation.
  • Regular reporting of project activities in Project Register and Clarity, in line with Business Transformation Framework for Central Change.
  • Interaction with the Line Management and Change Management Team and offshore sites supporting our Main entities.
  • Business engagement and regular management updates on initiatives.
  • Support Target operating model activities, where applicable.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
  • Responsible for end to end project delivery covering initiatives within the large scale regulatory project through to small process improvements.
  • Management of the Debt Securities Change projects across multiple sites.
  • Manage schedules, identify and track dependencies/ interdependencies, manage and escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
  • Assess and understand the implication of any change to the BAU team and downstream process in terms of technological/infrastructure demand, resources demand, skillset demand, workflow restructuring, and roles redefinitions.
  • Co-ordinate and manage key testing phases for Operations e.g. UAT, ensuring training is conducted and the agreed Operating model is successfully delivered.
  • Review, and be responsible for the overall delivery and output of the team
  • Carry out RIMS support for change owned configuration requirements
  • Typical KPIs and Targets:
  • Ensure all delivery is within agreed timeframes and delivery schedules set by Project Steering Committee\xe2\x80\x99s or key stakeholders
  • Ensure business benefits are identified and tracked through to realization
  • Ensure appropriate governance and regular communication / status updated are provided to key stakeholders and management
  • Ensure the team produces high quality, accurate and timely deliverables to the business stakeholders.
  • Ensure local sites management are informed and their expectations are managed.
  • Manage RIMS configuration request in a business critical timeframe within control framework
Leadership & Teamwork:
  • Foster positive working relationship with project stakeholders.
  • Manage BAU project resources efficiently to meet the operations commitments
  • Clear communication between the Global programmes and local teams.
  • Positive and constructive interactions with the business, the production managers, supporting functions counterparts and the project management teams
  • Exhibit excellent teamwork and co-operative behaviour in pursue win-win solutions.
Role Dimensions:
  • Significant number of liaison points and stakeholders across the Debt Securities Operations team, to include Middle Office Control, Debt Capital Markets, Clearing & Settlement and Chief Control Office (Non Financial Risk)
Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:
  • Proven track record of change management initiatives would be useful.
  • Process documentation and mapping experience within Global Markets.
  • Must have knowledge and experience of the Fixed Income (Debt) Securities product and associated trade types.
  • A strong operational trade lifecycle knowledge is a requirement.
  • Ability to manage key transformation projects in conjunction with Operations and IT.
  • Analytical mind with excellent judgement and decision making skills to identify exceptions in process handling.
  • Ability to drive out details and question procedures employed to deliver quality services.
  • Organised, adaptable and self-driven to achieve collective information both formally and informally from Subject Matter Experts.
  • Excellent relationship builder with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and exacting standards.
  • Previous experience of working with a Vendor would be beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of Fixed Income Product and its associated trade lifecycle would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of RIMS would be beneficial.
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
