The Opportunity: The role exists in the cluster Strategy & Change Delivery team of Equities, Global Debt Markets (GDM) and Securities Financing. The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Market & Securities Services (MSS) Operations Change delivery for Equities, GDM and Securities Financing Operations globally. This person will be providing any business analysis work required on the supporting of delivery of any book of work for aforementioned asset class Operations, and provide any project coordination, for all entities, which we have Equities, GDM and Securities Financing business presence there. This role will support changes required from all entities which the processes are serviced in Ops hubs. The person will be required to work very closely with the relevant Trading and Operational hub teams and understand the relevant business processes, in order to contribute to the success of the strategic programme. The person will also be required to work closely with various Technology teams across the globe and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of our Equities, GDM and Securities Financing\xe2\x80\x99s book of work. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
Manage schedules, identify and track dependencies/ interdependencies, manage and escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
Assess and understand the implication of any change to the BAU team and downstream process in terms of technological/infrastructure demand, resources demand, skillset demand, workflow restructuring, and roles redefinitions.
Co-ordinate and manage key testing phases for Operations e.g. UAT, ensuring training is conducted and the agreed Operating model is successfully delivered.
Management of the Equities, GDM and Securities Financing Change projects across multiple sites.
Responsible for end to end project delivery covering initiatives within the large scale regulatory project through to small process improvements.
Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
The jobholder must establish good working relationships with the members within Global Markets Operations, and other project stakeholders (including IT, and other business contacts like Finance, Product Control, Risks, and Front Office).
Significant number of liaison points and stakeholders across the Equities, GDM and Securities Financing Operations team, to include (not limited to) Middle Office Control, Clearing & Settlement and Chief Control Office (Non Financial Risk).
Ensure clear and accurate communication is conducted between the Global programme and the local sites.
Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role:
Process documentation and mapping experience within Global Markets.
Must have knowledge and experience of the Equities or GDM or Securities Financing product and associated trade types.
A strong operational trade lifecycle knowledge is a requirement.
Ability to manage key transformation projects in conjunction with Operations and IT.
Analytical mind with excellent judgement and decision making skills to identify exceptions in process handling.
Ability to drive out details and question procedures employed to deliver quality services.
Organised, adaptable and self-driven to achieve collective information both formally and informally from Subject Matter Experts.
Excellent relationship builder with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and exacting standards.
Proven track record of change management initiatives would be useful.
Working knowledge of all or any of these products -Equities, GDM and Securities Financing and its associated trade lifecycle would be advantageous.
