Job Description


  • Lead the development and execution of branding strategies for exclusive eyewear and contact lens brands, aligning them with the companys overarching business objectives.
  • Manage the planning and implementation of new product launches and the creation of compelling communications for focus funds. This includes organizing events, crafting emails, coordinating client communications, and managing social media campaigns.
  • Supervise the entire process of producing branding materials, from conceptualization to delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with creative teams to provide tailored content, such as images, videos, and advertising copy, to meet the needs of our retailers while ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Oversee all branding and public relations initiatives, ensuring they are completed within established timelines and budgets, and make efficient use of available resources.
  • Improve the companys brand positioning by developing and executing strategies that foster awareness, excitement, and trust among target audiences.
  • Guarantee uniformity in the companys brand and corporate identity across all channels, including both print and digital platforms.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of branding and public relations activities, offering suggestions for enhancement.
  • Maintain and update the brand calendar with the latest industry trends and best practices, enabling timely alignment with consumer preferences and trends.
  • Assist in managing media publications and releases by providing relevant and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Brand Marketing to ensure the direction and scheduling of brand content on social media align with brand asset guidelines.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as store managers, regional managers, external agencies, and corporate partners, to explore potential brand collaborations and product placement opportunities.
  • Stay informed about competitor activity, market trends, and market research data to provide insights for adjusting marketing plans and maintaining a competitive advantage.
  • Evaluate campaigns and provide written analyses promptly, offering recommendations based on the results.
  • Maintain a library of grassroots brand collateral, including visuals, videos, brand stories, and user-generated content.
  • Be available to provide on-the-ground support for brand and marketing activities as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field.
  • More than 3 years of branding experience, preferably within the optical or retail industry.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and exhibit strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments with minimal supervision. Be actively involved in devising and executing both strategic and operational plans.
  • Possess a solid grasp of branding best practices and a deep understanding of the Malaysian retail market.
  • Demonstrating a talent for brand development and an interest in the fashion sector is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin languages.
  • Showcase outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the capacity to collaborate in a fast-paced setting.
  • Be capable of working autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
